I have 2 kids, go to school full time and work full time. I don't have a big chunk of time to do fat burning on the treadmill and target my problem muscle groups. So on some days I get up and get on my gazelle for 20 minutes and then do abs and stuff at night before bed. On days where I do have a larger chunk of time, I go to the gym and do treadmill for 30 minutes then do legs, butt and abs.

I just started this about a week or 2 ago and I really want to continue but I haven't lost any weight so I'm wondering if breaking it up has anything to do with it.

By the way I am female, 27 yrs, 5'4 and weigh 125. The weight I want to lose is strictly in my mid section...tummy, hips and butt. Not really a lot weight wise, mostly I want to tone but there is a few lbs to shed too.

Thoughts?
THANKS!

Well you got a lot on your plate don't ya?
It's ok to breakup your workouts I think. Every little toning, cardio, or stretching will do something for you! May take a little longer to notice results but that's ok. You'll see!

Yes. As long as you are getting your heart rate up for the period of time you want. I have seen some exercise programs that have you do 20 minutes of something 3 times a day. Good luck and good for you! :)

Your muscle mass strengthen once you relax after routines and after ingesting protein!! determining distinctive cases for the time of a million day is largely pointless. 3/4 cases a week is many times appropriate, consume a lot of protein interior half-hour of your routines, and get a minimum of 8-10 hours of sleep according to night! sturdy luck

It's ok to break it up, in fact it's better to do that way. But you can't expect to see any big results in only a couple of week. Keep with the program and eventually you will see results.

2 weeks is not enough time to realize a significant change with just a change in exercise. but it is fine how you split it up like that. it wont change anything. probably even better that way. you'll notice after a while longer if you continue at it like that though.

its ok to split your work out up. you need to eat healthy, drink lots and lots of water. in order to lose weight you need to do cardio and strenght training. you need to do sit ups or crunches. there are excercises to help you with your hips etc. in order to lose weight you need to burn what you are putting in. not burning enough no weight loss. g.luck.
