And I mean this in a student/teacher way. Not that as an adult you met and dated someone who was a teacher.

This question isn't personal. It's just a question. Don't think so deep.

I'm a guy who went to a boarding high school (imagine Harry Potter & Hogwarts, only not as cool), and one of the male teachers used to come to my room at night ... that was super weird! He was a great teacher and I really liked him, but, hey, I wasn't looking for extracurricular sex, especially with a teacher!

Now I'm a teacher, and I do get attracted to some of my female students. It would be really bad to show that attraction, though, for lots of reasons, not the least of which is that students should never have to worry about that kind of tension. School - and teachers - should be safe and protective.

Um, no I don't think so. At least, I hope not. I mean, I know some who have found me attractive (in a cool sorta way), but none have ever made a pass at me, and they haven't acted like they wanted to. Most of the male teachers I've ever had or known are happily married.

I think we all know the answer to that. There have been many teacher/student relationships in the news. You are right nothing should be acted on, but unfortunately there are sick people in this world.

Probably, but I don´t think these relationships are healthy. A teacher should not break a student´s trust nor violate their innocence.

Some teachers flirted with the boys. There was a line you didn't cross and they knew it all too well. It was fun for them, I'm sure.
