2x+2y+8x+24y=0
10x=-26y
x=-26y/10
x=-2.6y
2. 5b=45
b=45/5
b=9

1.) 2(x+y)+8(x+3y) = 10x+ 26y
to get this answer you multiply the 2 times the x+y, and the 8times x+3y, then add like terms. (the x's and y's)
2. 5b=45 you want to get b by itself, to do that you divide both sides by 5. Which gies you b=9
