The title says it all, Basically I am falling for my best friends girlfriend, she is also my bestfriend. We have all been friends for over 6-9 years. We are all very close, but he is currently locked up for about 2 months. I am falling for his girlfriend, we hang out everyday on a daily basis along with a couple of other friends. One thing is that I am falling for her, another is that I want they have very badly. I never try to look for a girlfr because I am trying to get done with my education for the future. But suddenly this happens. They have been going out for 5-7 years. It is so damn difficult, I just can't not hang out, bc she calls sometimes to go eat or hang out somewhere with people or without. Need some help, advice, anything!

If you do anything, chances are she will tell him and you lose both of them. Try and go places you can meet other girls, then if she calls you can say you're busy and cut back on how much you see her. It's the only safe way out unless he cheats on her of course (difficult at the moment isn't it?).

On the positive side you are on the right road by putting your education first. Being friends for such an amount of time does play a role as far as a relationship goes. Understandingly she is your best friends girl. I am pretty sure he has no knowledge of your feelings and doesn't need to just yet. Ask your self, being best friends with him for so long, or loosing him, by taking his girl whom your not sure she feels the same about you. Never the less you will loose a friend. Just think if you got her and lost him and you and her broke up, you would loose both friends. I concur this is a hard situation to be in. I think what you should do is take time back into your studies, and let them be. Unless, she feels the same for you, then you will have to post another question. But for now take time, concentrate, there are so many girls that have different characteristics for you to fall in love with. Hope this helps you.

You could imagine a horrible scenario like: your best friend is freed from prison and finds you and the young lady together.
In a fit of rage he causes either or both of you grievous bodily harm which would likely return him to the slammer.
Now would you want any of that?
Even if he is an englightened soul, the right thing to do is to not interfere unless their relationship is properly and irrevocably over.
This is the obligation of a best friend.

if it is too hard for you stop hanging out with her! she is not going to let go of 5-7years easily. there are plenty of women out there, but if he is your true friend, cherish him. true friends are way harder to come by.
