If i get a computer with a Windows XP home COA sticker but no operating system can i use an XP home CD that i already installed on another computer but instead of typing in the included code on the CD can i just type in the code that's on the coa sticker?

You would probably be stopped from registering hit w/a message to the affect it's already been installed on another machine but you can call microsoft tell them you had to reinstall and they will give you another key code

It sounds good to me... as long as you have the Cd, why not give it a try?

You could install it but you cant activate it.
