I want to get married in Charleston, SC. I also want a old-fashioned 40's wedding. I really want the location to be at an old plantation house. Some where with lots of huge oak trees, flowers, and maybe a river. Any suggestions?

Charleston Place Hotel... it's part of Orient Express Hotels International. I had an opportunity to work with the Chef there when he visited our property in Charlottesville, VA and he's extremely talented to say the least. I haven't had an opportunity to visit in person, but from what I know, it should be right on the water and in the heart of downtown Charleston, SC. I don't know about plantations, but Angel Oak is the most beautiful, GIANT oak tree I've ever seen. I don't know if people get married there or not but it would be a great location if they did. Go to http://www.angeloaktree.org/ to see it!
