I feel that this is a terribly important question. Certainly no less important than some of the other crappy questions on this site.

Life, as I know it, hinges on your answers.

Wow. Your life depends on it? Ok. No pressure. Well, I will be a flop because (while I am stunning) I am a vegetarian. I know you will want slabs of flesh. But I would make you a delicate sandwich of mozzarella cheese, arugula, peppers, baby spinach, pesto, olive paste and fresh garden tomatoes, with a homemade mayonnaise.

Well I hope that is not true.
My fav sandwiches is
2 slices Good Chewy French or Sourdough Bread
goodly slather of Mayo, Sliced Avocado, &Tomatoes,
Alfalta Sprouts, Vadalia Onion slices. If I'm feeling in the need to meat I'll add some crispy cooked bacon.

I like the taste of different breads and will put different things on each but offer a variety of cheese with flavor like swiss on rye with ham toasted just until the cheese melts, real mayo and spicy brown mustard, lettuce, sprouts, tomato then salt and pepper maybe a sweet pickle on the side. Try a sour dough bread with a thin slice of salami fresh slice of parmesan or munster and tomato, spread olive salad and mayo on with an italian pepper on the side. To drink, a raspberry tea or fresh root beer. Hungry?

Salami, ham, provolone, olive tapenade, garlic cream cheese spread, and peppercini....Of course pigs will be flying when I get around to making you a sandwich, but one identicial to the what I described is available along with lots of tasty other ones at the sandwich deli in most Safeways.

Your sandwich from me would consist of chipotle mayonnaise on fresh baked foccacia and stuffed with a grilled piece of tenderloin steak cooked to your liking. Then I would add some baby arugula and some spicy fried onion rings. I'd serve it with a light mixed green salad with a refreshing red wine vinagrette tossed in. Delicious!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INGREDIENTS:
1 quart oil for frying, or as needed
2/3 cup water
1 egg
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 slices white bread
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices turkey
4 slices ham
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar for dusting

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Heat 5 inches of oil in a deep-fryer to 365 degrees F (180 degrees C). While oil is heating, make the batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper; whisk into the egg mixture until smooth. Set aside in the refrigerator.

Assemble sandwiches by placing one slice of turkey on one slice of bread, a slice of ham on another, then sandwich them with the Swiss cheese in the middle. Cut sandwiches into quarters, and secure with toothpicks.

Dip each sandwich quarter in the batter so that all sides are coated. Deep fry in the hot oil until golden brown on all sides. Remove toothpicks and arrange on a serving tray. Dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.

First I would toast two pieces of bread...Then I would butter it (use real butter now)...I would top one slice with crunchy peanut butter, and the other with marshmallow creme...I would then slice one banana, and put them in rows on the marshmallow side...I would then top the sandwich, cut it into four diagonally, and offer it to you...If this does not suit you...Then it's mine! All mine!!!
