Wow we had 109 world wars prior to this. Were in the hell have I been.

Not in the sense that I suspect you mean.
East and West (Islam and Christianity if you will) have been in a cultural clash (a form of war) for more than 1,000 years. This has not been war as the same as World Wars I & II, and yet it is war none the less.

It's like the question of whether Iraq is in a civil war. If you have to ask, then probably not.
Not until we have all/most of the world's biggest powers reporting military operations to root out terror camps and terror cells in their and other nations will we be able to call it a World War.

we are nowhere close to world war 3.... wtf is in ur head... a world war is when pretty much the whole world is at war... think about ww1 and ww2... there was a hell of alot more countrys in that war then are in this conflict... this war isnt even really a war its a conflict

world war means everyone gets involved in...nobody wants to get involved with this war...because other countries are afraid of the consequences...like bombings and threats which can affect their economy...were the strongest nation in the world everyone looks to us to solve the problem..that's why we get all the heat...damned if we don't.. damned when we do ....scenario
