Actually, many people end up staying the same, or losing weight in recovery from bulimia. This is for many reasons. 1. Even when you purge, your body retains a certain percentage of the calories ingested. 2. During the cycle of restricting, then bingeing, then purging, your metabolism slows down. 3. Because of dehydration and bingeing, your weight will fluctuate greatly day to day when ill.

As you recover, your body will readjust. While you may gain weight, it will eventually even out and settle at your set point.

First, bullemia is a disorder, not just something you can ignore and it will go away. You should admit your problem if you are ready and get professional help.

Once you are ready, start slowly and eat healthy foods that are high in vitamins like fruits, veggies, yogurt, chicken (none of these are high in FAT, so you should have no reason not to eat them) and this will help you rid yourself of feeling so guilty after you eat that you need to throw up to feel better. This will be way easier if you don't try to do it on your own though. your friends and family should be supporting you...

Eat healthy and exercise. Run or jog 2-3 times a week and stay away from fatty/fast foods. If you are bulimic talk to a doctor. This is a very serious problem. Also think of all the long term problems associated with this disease. Good luck.

I guess you just aren't over the bullemia then. Stick through it, from personal expirience, you can't break an addiction until you want to. Sounds stupid, but really, right now, you just don't want to gain weight, therefore you aren't gonna, if you get a shocker, you might change mind-set.

I hope thats what you're looking for, your question isn't quite full...

ok having all the symptoms means your throwing up. if your throwing up your food on purpose then you don't need to be diagnosed because you already have it.
