if you saw an someone getting beat up or hurt and they could not defend themselves. how many of you would walk away.

I have stopped someone from beating a child and stopped a husband attacking his wife. If it's a fight in a bar, guys against guys you try to do what you can but as someone else suggested you can wind up getting yourself killed in those instances. I don't mind taking the shots for a kid or an abused woman...but it's another thing when it's a guy against another guy.

I might not get physically involved but I would make some noise to bring attention to the situation.
These are things I have done.
I have used my cell to call emergency for the police and give a description of the perpetrator.
Walking away is not an option.

I'm not so sure I would jump into the fight, but I would definitely get someone quick, either a passer by or call the police.Its a close call for women ,cuz not all dare to defend.

id go in there an kick the attackers ****** teeth in dude,who picks on a defenceless person?only gutless ***** dude,good man for steppin in.i seen some clips on the internet of ***** gettin ****** up, an people just watchin.****** losers man,they wuold want someone to help if they got beaten up.
ive helped out people myself in fights,i jumped in with this fella gettin beaten up by a group of guys,decked one of them an ended up gettin beaten worse that the fella i was helpin.
we got back at them but,an im proud i did,i dont have guilt for sittin there an watching

I would help...I probably wouldn't try beating the other guy up because I would just end up getting killed, but I would find someone bigger to help the person :) haha

I would be smart about it and try to help if I knew I was going to be of help otherwise I would get help very quickly.
I suppose the element of surprise might break it up but if I thought I would be next I would get help pronto

I wouldn't walk away, I carry pepper spray and a tazer at all times, so I would spray and tazer the people hurting the other person. Then I would call the police.

I would most likely help. There are situations in which I'd go to look for help immediately, or call the police. (Such as fire arms, or too many aggressive people at a time).

Things like that rile me up, so I'd probably deliver a good beating to the former aggressor.

if a woman is getting beat from a guy i have no prob stopping it and i have confronted men before, they have swore at me told me to mind my bees wax but it saved a women from getting seriously hurt or killed
