I know a few people who have brown hair and have died it black. It works fine, but make sure to use enough dye because sometimes you get a weird brown/black smokey mix which looks really weird.

It should work fine, as long as your hair isn't too short, cause then it might be harder to dye it if you're doing it yourself.

It's easy to do and brown hair will accept the black color very well. It is grey hair that can cause some difficulty in retaining the dye. Just follow the directions on the package or have it done professionally.

It is technically easy to dye the hair, but beware: I wouldn't recommend using permanent dye at first. Also, make sure you wear the gloves that come with the dye because your hands will get stained. For that matter, so will your ears, your forehead, and your neck at the hairline. You shoud have Q-tips and a wet washcloth on hand to immediately wipe away excess dye from your skin. Finally, you should know that you can't cover up black dye, so once it's in your hair you have to wait for it to grow out or wash out (if it's not permanent).

yes, its kinda easy. I accidentially died my hair pitch black once because i used a dark brown color when my hairs medium brown and i have fine hair which apparently dies differently. i guess i kept it on for to long and it turned gothic black. I normally like my hair dark dark brown, not black. I think u'll be fine. Its not rocket science. You might want to do a strand test. you can always try semi-permanent which is what i use because by the time it fades, you need to redye it anyways because the hair has grown out a little.

No. Wait! Hi, I am Jazzie. I am a girl and I know about hair. Get it done professionally by people you can really trust because a cheap black hair dye can make you look like you are wearing a small furry animal on your head. Honest.

my wife is a hairdresser and she says... " oh geez yeah. I colour guys hair black all the time. It's easy. If you want to get a box colour go for it. The instructions are inside. If you don't want to get it on your arms, wear a long sleeved shirt that you don't care about and of course the gloves they give you in the box. Another tip is.. put some vaselline or a thick conditioner around your hairline, on your forhead, on your ears ( your whole ear) and on your neck. That way, if you drip it on your skin ( which you probably will cause it's easy to do) it will wipe off easier with less staining ( use a warm/hot cloth to get it off with) but act fast to get it off. Go for it tho and good luck.

Very easy. Just apply the black dye right over your hair. Be careful of skin, it will stain.

Yep, it will fade for confident. i take advantage of organic black on myself and the first day or 2 it quite is black, yet per week later it has dwindled to mild black and 2 weeks later it really is a dismal brown.
