Where did He say superior? Different yes, made first, yes. Superior? I do not think so. I am content to be a woman. That position is honorable.

Where in the Bible did Jesus say that women are inferior to men? I've never read it.
And in the Gnositc gospels, when He said a woman has to become "male" to get to the Kingdom. He spoke spiritually.
There are two aspects to the Lifeforce. One that flows from
the Source of Life to us. And one that flows from us to the
Source.
We understand these as masculine and feminine. But they
just exist. Its not until they meet at the different levels of
reality that we become male and female.
Traditionally, the force that comes from God is the feminine, and the one that returns to God is the masculine.
That's why they always put the crap on women. Because
that aspect of the Lifeforce flows away from God. But as I said, these forces just exist. And one could not work without the other.

Jesus, said nothing of the sort. You're thinking of , Paul. Remember, you're talking about a culture far removed in custom and time from where we are now. Here's a little factoid for those who think that the ancient Israelites were anti-feminists. Many of the Rabbies where women ! Women held high positions through-out the religious and governmental structure of Israel .
I think it would make sense that you and others who talk about the scripture of any religion should read it first ... DOH !

I'm no Christian, but femininity is against the feminist movement. The whole idea of feminism is to be more masculine! A truly feminine philosophy would contain no aggression or divisiveness, so it would be dificult to propogate. But I do not believe that men are superior, just different.

You will have to reference that one.. The Bible said the man is the head of the woman as Christ is the head of the church. This is a man has to treat his woman like Christ treats the church (giving himself up for her) in order for him to take that position. I'll tell you right now if a man would do that for his wife there wouldn't be any problem with her following him anywhere... Jim

Jesus didn't say that. Paul said the stuff about wives being obedient to their husbands. Jesus went outside the boundaries of what was acceptable social practice of the time and accepted women, as well as others who were considered "unclean."
