first of all be careful about leaving a good guy for someone else. good ones are hard to come by and the new b/f might end up being a jerk. you might want to tell the current b/f that you want to date other people and see if they mind you dating both of them....that way you keep the old b/f and have the new one. if you want to commit to the new guy just tell the current b/f you want to be friends, but it isn't working out for you and you don't see him in your future.

Say I would I it if we could just be friends right now and tell him in a nice and calm way and wait and see if he has somethin to say don't just walk away and leave him wait until you heard what hes got to say unless its mean then don't listen to it.

I dont see why you are worried about how,....you are dumping him for another guy, not for anything he did wrong. If he has done nothing wrong then he is going to be hurt and confused no matter how you go about it.
