it sounds like schizophrenia a psychotic disorder caused by the increase of dopamine (a chemical messenger of the brain). that can cause visual hallucinations where the person sees things that no one else can see. it can cause auditory hallucinations where the person hears people talking to them. (usually negative). they can have olfactory hallucinations where the person smells things that are not in the air. they can have tactile hallucinations where the person feels as though they are being touched. (i have seen people peel some of their skin off because they felt bugs crawling on them). all your senses can be affected by hallucinations.
there are several medications used to help in controlling some of the affects of schizophrenia such as haldol, thorazine, risperdal, seriquel, clozaril just to name a few. some are very affective in their treatment. other affects of schizophrenia can be odd thoughts. the president is talking to me, your trying to kill me, that song is about me and etc. if you or a friend is suffering with this it is important to take your meds exactly as prescribed. good luck to you.

schizophrenia...see a psychiatrist as soon as possible...but there are many medical conditions (thyrotoxicosis, cerebral lupus) that can mimic this...so you may need to see a physcian as well

they are nuts, they used to just hear things and now they see them too.
