unfortunately the problem is they are not trained- they are not trained in self control, righteousness or respect for women.
They are allowed to follow after the flesh seeking immediate gratification and sacrificing the future on the alter of right now. Unfortunately, many young girls are brought up this way also- they are not taught about purity and now we have a generation of young boys and girls who think they are grown up enough to have and rationalize having sex but have not a clue what to do when they get pregnant or get sick as a result, as evidenced by many questions on this site.

i think that this can be explained ina medical fashion...

in the early days of humanity and up into the dark ages, the human race would be reproducing by the age of 13 to 14, as soon as the reproductive system began to work...

this was because average life expectancy was about 30 years.

during the Renascence medican science started to cure some diseases and figure out the cause and people began to live longer..however people that were 14 or 15 were expected to be married and either trying to or already have children.

durring the last 400 years people have started liveing much longer, up to 80 years, and we still consider a 15 year old a child..

you really anr not regarded by society as an adult untill you are 25, and you are not expected to be married untill you are 25 or 30.

400 years simply is not a long enough tome for humans to adapt..

the male sex drive peaks when they are 18... the female when they are 23 on average....but the famale gets a second peak just before the reproductive system shuts down....

so it is not a lack of a love of god... it is simply horomones...

I don't know. I do know this, however- if you wait until you're married you run the risk of having no chemistry in that department and committing to a lifetime of dud sex. So maybe there's a happy medium. And yes, sex is a huge part of marriage, so if it's not working in the bedroom, it's not working at all. Not advocating that you do or don't wait, but just saying beware the bill of goods you may buy.

Safarlsun,

Your difficulty understanding the strong male sex drive is because you have very little sex drive yourself.

Perhaps the man you are thinking about marrying has a much higher level of desire.

Shouldn´t you do the right thing for both of you and leave him to find someone more physically compatible?

And you can look for a guy who doesn´t care for sex very much ie. someone like you.

Oh come off it! Everyone did the deed before marriage----EVEN JESUS' MOM! The important part is that you know them well, perhaps even love them, and are prepared to get married...
if you want a staunch christian man with total self control, you should be careful!
A man with no sex drive may have some very serious sexual issues that you will be CRYING your eyes out about when you ARE married. Like impotence, a latent homosexual or a person really psychologically screwed up in his mind about sex being "dirty" thanks to your religion and his wacko parents.

It's as natural as birthin babies for a man to "expect" sex before marriage dear.......the adults around you should be more honest about the ways of the world when advising you.

Speaking for myself and probably most men . Of coarse we love god. But women just drive us crazy and when were horny theres no question about weather we want it or not. Dont you ever do something you know god wouldnt be pleased about. All we can do is ask forgiveness for our weakness. You know how women say all the time men dont know what women feel like when thier period happens. Thats the same thing kinda for guys. When a beautiful lady is near us we get excited and blood leaves one head for the other. We stop thinking rationaly. We beg , we plead, we promise anything to get it. Afterward some of us feel guilty, but its too late. It is up to you women to stay a virgin , if thats what you want. But most guys wont help you there. Hope this helps.

OO OO EE EE. Do you really think St Peter's gonna stare at you from behind your book of deeds and send you packing because of premarital SEX? I'm sure 3 servings of meat on a Friday and you're flying on that looooong slide downward too. If you're in love, He'll understand...if you're in it for the pleasure, we'll, maybe a demerit...an eon in purgatory for you, unless you buy favors in this life to get you back into heaven.

It is the signs of the times, of course most do not love God. They love themselves and want to satisfy their animal lusts. The sad part it is that now the girls are almost as aggressive as the guys. The over abundance of sex on T.V., the easy access to porn on the internet has dropped all boundaries. Where boys and men used to have to go out of their way to find such trash, we now have it at our fingertips. If you subject yourself to it, you begin to develop a very warped view of sex. Instead of linking it to love it becomes a conquest. I counsel young men and couples and especially young married couples the women complain constantly that sex seems to be more of contest for their husbands, where they want to see how big a stud they are instead of showering their wife with love and affection, they are consumed with extending the raw act.

Hormones play a lot in a guy's sexual desire. Also, pay attention to the media, nearly everywhere you look, people are having sex like they change their clothes. So they portray this message that its ok to have sex outside marriage. And the more you see it, the easier it is to be tempted to do it.

Yes, but not... physically. No matter what era you look at guys will take sex before marriage if its given (except in particuarly pius cases) and a few vulgar types will pressure for it.
