How do I turn a .mov file into something Windows Movie Maker can import?

My Olympus camera takes .mov movies. I want to edit them and add digital photos and add music. I have Windows Movie Maker. This program will not read .mov files How do I get Windows Movie Maker to read them? In the alternative, what program will let me edit .mov files, add digital photos and sound? thanks

you can find MOV converter on the web that will change the movie to WMV format, from there you shld be able to make changes
