The Bible says to treat your body as a temple,So that is where people will say tattoo's are a sin, maybe they are but do I think you will go to hell for getting one two or even more? No.When we die our bodies go back into the earth,People who have tattoos here will not have them in death no matter where you go,And yes I have a couple a very pretty dolphin and a heart (no name.)

I really don't see how this can be a sin. If you do decide to get a tattoo; you need to consider what it is and where you have it placed. After all, the older you get your thoughts and feelings change. You must also remember that your body changes and what is this tattoo going to look like when you are 50, 60 or 70.

I'd like to see "chapter and verse" (where in the Bible) if it is. Naw, you are okay unless it is the "mark of the beast" you have on your forehead or hand--that's another story and I've got chapter and verse for it. But a rose on some girl's butt, a kitty on the left tit, or some guy sporting a heart with mom or the military unit's motto, that's distinctly different.

Not any kind of sin, but allowing someone to insert foreign objects under your skin just for appearance, and risking your life thereby is just STUPID!

god's laws involve loving god and loving your neighbor as yourself. petty legalisms like that are the least of god's concerns. anything beyond those two things is either an addition or a misunderstanding.

check jesus' own words about that. he stated that those two things were the most important commandments, and that the entire law and prophets hung upon those two things. anything else is going beyond what christ taught.
