EX 32:19 When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, BREAKING THEM TO PIECES at the foot of the mountain
If Moses can break them so can we all?

Hmmm... I'm not really familiar with the Bible... does it say that there were only 10 commandments on the tablets he broke?...

for some reason I think that the commandments that he broke were a bit different from the 10 he got from God later.. after the people had shown that they could not live up to the higher commandments they were given some to guide them through until those who had known slavery were mostly dead.

Just because Moses broke the tablets doesn't give mankind an excuse to sin without punishment. But no one can be perfect. God doesn't expect you to be perfect. He expects you to worship Him. You are free not to do so but the consequences are yours alone. Moses won't be there pitching an excuse for you.

contained in the action picture i replaced into gazing, Moses (performed with the help of Mel Brooks) got here down from the mountain sporting 3 pills and remarked, 'I convey you God's 15, (drops one pill) 10 commandments'... ask your self what the different 5 were gonna be...

You can break the commandments, of course! There is no perfectly good person except God. These laws arent like the laws we have like when we commit a crime we get punished, but of course God will show us mercy.

Moses was not perfect. He was weak and sinful just like the rest of us.

God frequently uses weak, damaged, or sinful people to carry out His will.

God can even use you and me.

With love in Christ.

He probably just noticed he misspelled some stuff when chiselling out the lettering and didn't want to take flak from the spelling police.

The whole idea behind the ten commandments is to show us that NOBODY can live up to them and that EVERYBODY breaks at least one of them.
That is why we need God in our lives.
