Is this question only for 'ladies'? Cos in that case, as a semi-ardent liberated woman, I shan't bother to answer just to make a sociological point.
But as a reasonably intelligent reflex-wired human being, *I* would probably drop the cup and wheel around to see if there WAS a dinosaur behind me. And IF there happened to be a velociraptor (because a T-Rex would not fit into my kitchen) I would probably attempt to kick it quite hard on the snout. Very few creatures appreciate blows to their noses.
Then I'd start hurling the sharp kitchen knives, which I happen to keep right beside the cupboard where the measuring cup is located. And I'd keep the cleaver in reserve.
And...
um...
I may have gotten a bit carried away with this hypothetical question. Please disregard this hypothetical answer!
(straightens her glasses, tucks back a strand of hair, and strolls off attempting to look nonchalant)

If I saw Rex instead of Pyrex in the bottom of my measuring cup, I would think that my 5-year-old grandson had been putting stickers on my kitchen utensils. He is a dinosaur fan.

In today's world I would probably laugh and keep cooking. While I was thinking about how it happened.
I would think it was accidentally put in the wrong shipping box. Should be in box marked Jurassic park. Maybe the people in the warehouse couldn't spell Pyrex so they thought T-Rex was close enough.
