I was working two jobs to make ends meet after my divorce. One at an office, and the second waitressing. I would leave by 7:15 AM, and not get home until between 10 and 11 PM. One night I was greeted at the door with candles lit around the house, flowers with peanut butter cups nestled in them, a backrub, and a card that told me how much I meant to him (the guy I was dating, not the ex).
Then when I lost both of my jobs at the same time and found myself a single mom without income, I was thinking that my world was coming to an end. It was a full clear moonlit night. I was still very upset. He had gone to take his dog out. When he came back inside he asked me to go outside with him. He took me into the backyard and told me to look at the trees. When I didn't understand he pointed out how the moonlight was playing on the tree branches, and how pretty it was. This while standing behind me, holding me in his arms. He told me that he thought I would appreciate seeing that.
We are now married, and will be celebrating our one year anniversary next month. With our jobs, pets, a teenager, and a new baby I don't get a lot of that now these days. I do still get the occasional just because flowers, or a just because card/e-mail/text message. I am told every single day that I am loved.
So, yes, it does really exist. Hopefully you will find someone who will make those kinds of experiences happen for you.

Unfortunately not....however, you can find a man who treats you well and rings your bell! That's the best you can hope for. There will be fairytale moments but since we do live in reality...there will also be rough times in any relationship. Therefore, the best way to achieve the kind of romance that you want is to enter into a relationship without the rose colored glasses and be willing to work through the problems as they occur. Too often people romanticize relationships and when a problem occurs, they throw the relationship away and move on in search of an unrealistic notion they have manufactured in their minds.

You have already started working on making it come true!
You KNOW what kind of romance you want; like in the books and movies. Hopefully NOT Mr. and Mrs. Smith type of romance.
Write down! what you want!! IN DETAIL. This is what successful people do. They WRITE IT DOWN what they want. You can change and upgrade it as you learn new things. Then wait for it to come-to-you. Do not try to chase after it. When it is the right time, it will come to you.

Yes, there is hope. First, you have to get comfortable being you. Learn more about yourself. Exercise, read, continue to ask questions, volunteer, or anything else you can think of to keep your mind and body active. Then, when you aren't looking the right person will find you. The beautiful thing is, you will be ready. It is possible. It happened to me! It isn't just like the movies, but real life.

Ramance from movies and books doesn't exist. While you might have magical moments in a relationship, that is all it is, moments. Life isn't like the movies, its mess and fantastic. Just take it for what it is worth and make the best of it.

the romance that you read in books/movies are a piece of garbage. Love is so special and doesn't always end up like a fairytale.

No love sucks and it's never like in the movies. All the good guys are taken even if there were only 5 all the rest of them who do think that they are perfect will only hurt you.
