Family means unconditional love to me. It means laying down my life, without a second thought, to protect my kids. It means not even pausing for a heartbeat, to keep them safe from a moving car, or a fire.
Family means, no matter what they have done, my love for them will never end. That doesn't mean I will never be angry, or unhappy with their choices. It means I will love them despite their choices.

To me, a family is a group of people who are together and love each other no matter what. They go through thick and thin and always emerge strong together. They would celebrate holidays together, birthdays, special occassions and nightly dinners.
Sniff...people with families should never take them for granted and cherish each moment they have. I'd give anything for a family. Anything.

well, my family means everything to me... but as I have a small family biologically, I think that close friends can count as family as well. People that I trust with everything and can bring around my biological family and have them see everything that goes on... when those people still stick around, they become like family.
