Firstly, welcome to the world of firefox. The way I choose to download is to create a folder on whatever drive, for example C:\ which I call "Incoming". In Firefox I then go to Tools, Options, Downloads and set the download folder to "C:\Incoming". I have a shortcut to my incoming folder which I have conveniently located and so can open this folder without having to search for it and relocate any downloads as needed or use and then discard on a daily basis. Hope this helps

as i'd known before you cannot keep on downloading without saving it. Saving it would mean you would like to run that program again and you cannot download it if your not saving it since the program would not be running or start to download if your not gonna save it first.

by downloading something you are saving it to your computer, if you want to downlaod it as a temporary file and then run it and have it auto delete afte rther should be a box that you can check that says that. but the definition of downloading is to save to your computer.

"save to disk" and download are the exact same thing, it's just that firefox isn't internet explorer and so various things have different names.

but well done for choosing firefox and welcome to the 'fox community :)

don't forget to 'accept' this answer if it helped.

Go to Tools, Options, Downloads, and check where you want it to download, or ask you where. Good Luck
