I look pretty much like my avatar (with hazel eyes) and I wonder if it is a good idea to go platinium blond or a other color?
Also, is there any makeover software that u can get free on the internet?

It'll be very hard to go a different color with dark hair like that. Your stylist would have to bleach your hair and then color it, which is a permanent change until your hair grows out again. Go with your natural look!
I would invest in a good haircut at a higher end salon with someone who knows how to do makeovers, not just cut/colors. Ask a professional's advice.
P.S. I always say that a good shave and a haircut does wonders for any man, so you might just start there, and save the color adventures for later! Good luck.

Don't go platinum! Actually don't color your hair at all. This is just my opinion; I used to be a hairstylist. I personally don't like guys who are that into thier hair. Also it won't look very natural and that is the trend right now.
