It's model WTM610 and the brand is "Brown"

Hi thanks for all the quick responses -- it's "Brown" not "Summit" (apparently they're different brands)... and we don't have an electric one apparently, no automatic electric lighter...

Ok I got them to light! I'm so happy -- thanks so much everyone had such great helpful answers. To the one that suggested "Summit" -- that was close enough and had helpful info -- I was brave enough to stick my arm and lighter back there (isn't it SCARY???) and the "pilot" just lit... I wasn't even sure what exactly it looked like or where exactly it was, but when it got close enough it just lit.

There were 2 pilots for the stove (in between each of the 2 ranges) and 1 pilot for the oven. Easy!

THANKS (I can't select a best answer yet, b/c 4 hrs haven't passed sorry)

depends on how much gas the valve is discharging , how long it goes on ( build up in room / house ) and whether or not someone is a smoker etc . any combustible plus oxygen ( air ) is ripe for an explosion . grain silos explode from the grain dust , air and a spark . if one of your switches sparks while the proper mix of gas and air is there , yes it can ignite . it would probably be a small explosion that causes a fire then you might end up with burns . not a pleasant way to pass from this existence ! >

Lift the top off, after you turn gas valve on, light all burners pilot lights. Open broiler, very bottom, light that pilot light, way in the back.

If you are able to take off the top you should be able to see the ducts there should be 2 right in between each 2 burners.

If you don't have electronic ignition (the way to go) it's in the rear of the broiler compartment.

If, after getting answers on here, you are still unsure, contact your local gas company. They will send someone out--for free--to show you how to do it.

Ask a neighbour. Or phone an appliance store.
