me and dis boy have been talkin and he got locked up and i stayed faithful i mean i held it down 4 him and when he was in jail i was the first person dat he called but since he got out he changed and i dnt know how 2 approach him and ask him how he feels

yep... forget whatever he said inside.... its not saying that he would purposely lie but needs & priorities change inside.
Try not to focus on being loved up... focus on having fun with him instead... build something form the friendship you have now not whatever it was you had or thought you had when he was away.
How is he different... maybe he is just re-adjusting to being out & having the time & freedom to do what he wants with whoever he wants whenever he wants again... be around but give him some space too - remember your expectations will be higher because you've been thinking about him a while (whilst he's been away) eh?
After a while to catch up with his mates & have a bit of a blow out...if he's not interested in hanging out with you then, he's not interested at all... in which case, you can be happy that you helped someone when they needed it, decide if you can stay friends & just get on with your own stuff.... you obviously have good qualities such as loyalty & patience.... you can find a boy who recognises what your worth!

Just ask him how he feels even if the truth hurt. I mean u have the right to know. You been dedicated to him. Shoot i would want to know

Guys are lonely when they're in jail and they'll tell you anything because they want you to be there for them while they're in there.Mainly he just used you for your company and letters and so forth.
