Look i have a dog and all she does is bark, bark, bark, she is 7 months old and she barks at everything and worst of all she is a coward she'll bark at everything but then she will back up while she's barking man it drives ma crazy!!!!She is Part beagle and basset hound. but come on you tell her to shut up and she doesn't. I tried one of those barking collars were it shocks her alittle bit when she barks but that is not helping either. i really need help. Can someone please Help me???

being part beagle x bassett she is going to be a naturally vocal dog, however to help your sanity, your could try a husher muzzle - the dog can still drink and pant but it has elasticised sides that won't open enough to allow her to bark. It worked wonders on a mastiff that i had. The other (and long term) solution is dog training - get her socialised with other dogs and people - you will find as she gets her confidence she will not feel the need to bark so much at every little thing.

Try a spray bottle dont let her see it but when she barks spray her face and say NO firmly when she stops say good girl and pet her but you have to be consistent every time and dont let her see you getting the bottle hide it behind your back so she wont know where its coming from then it will startle her everytime

bring her to obediance school. don't try shock collars they don't
work. does she even know why your saying shut up? i mean if you haven't trained her to stop barking on command she will
continue barking. get professional help for this problem.

have you heard of bark busters,i am not sure what it would cost but they come to your house and somehow teach your dog not to bark!....tried giving it a bone to keep it busy?....

ready2go is totally correct! the dog whisperer can cure all doggie issues! everything he suggests has worked like magic on my beagle. national geographic channel.
and it doesn't hurt that the guy is hot!

Whenever he.she barks give her a command like QUIET or say NO .... anything like that
