...BUT just (seriously) interested if most of the Christian stuff eminating from this site is US-based? What do people think?

[added] um...US and U.S are the same thing...in a modern computer-based office environment, full-stops between letters such as this are considered a bit out-dated, although still acceptable of course. I'm not sure of the relevance of your comment.

...and the question is: " do people think that most of the Christian-oriented comments eminate from the USA? "

I couldn't say as I tend to ignore a lot of it (even though I am a Christian myself) as I don't like ranting. What do you think it would mean if it is? It's an interesting question if you look at its facets (politics, culture, nationalism). If only I could cope with all the ranting and bible quoting I might have a look at it...but I'm not sure that I can.

This is a very good question but is it possible to get an answer.
I used to think that all this christian stuff was coming out of the US, but now I am not so sure. I think some UK people are doing it as a laugh now, because a lot of the things they say are quite ridiculous and funny.
The big time stick and pasters appear to have got less. I think they were the real thing. and from the US.
Maybe some US religious organisation put some missionaries on the UK site, but finally decided it was counter productive and withdrew them. Or perhaps they just find us boring now.

Its hard to get away from religion in the states these days. I have just returned back to the UK (or is it U.K.) from a visit to the states to see my family. In the time since my last visit, yet another chuch has sprung from the ground. This makes 14 in my hometown now. This is a quiet, off the beaten track town, miles from anywhere, and they feel the need for 14 churches! I could think of much better ways of spending the money as all the big firms are now pulling out of the town and unemployment is at a record high. I'm sorry, but God isn't going to pay the bills or buy medicine for your sick child......makes me angry!

I tend to think of most of them as being in the USA but I could easily be wrong. It used to be that Internet access outside of the USA was very expensive (I remember paying $12 per hour to be on the Internet PLUS long distance phone bills of $240 per month)...

I am not familiar with foriegn access anymore though since I have not been outside of the USA in a while.

I think many of the stupid answers and questions are from Americans, sorry to say. There are some people here that are from the middle east. They've all seemed very intelligent and nice. I am American and am embarrassed that other nationalities read our stupidity.

I'm not saying we're all stupid. Just the stupid ones are stupid and they know who they are.

US or United States?

I suppose so, as statistically there are likely to be far more users from the US than anywhere else.
