BECAUSE THEY ARE OF THE WORLD AND DO NOT WANT THIS LIFE STYLE TO END WHEREAS TO GET INTO HEAVEN YOU CANNOT BE OF THIS WORLD OR MAKE THE THINGS HERE MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR SALVATION AND WORSHIP OF GOD

I'm not scared for the world to end.
I won't be here then, anyway. I will already be in heaven with the Lord by that time, since He will rapture all true believers before then.
But even so, the end of the world as we know it will only mean that it's time for Christ to set up his kingdom on earth, and He will begin His 1,000 year reign. Satan and his demons will have been cast into the lake of fire, and there will be no more war, no sadness, no pain, no illness, no tears.... just a perfect, pure world.
Why wouldn't I look forward to a world like that??

The world is a difficult thing to bring to an end.
Much easier is to wipe out all dinosaurs and make other species extinct. The world will not end, species do and will. The planet is fully capable of continuing to exist even though certain species might not be present any longer. People are afraid of the unknown and at times make up unbelievable stories about
the unknown

I think they are more afraid of the end times, and the way the world will be before the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.
It has to happen.

Well, I don't know. Christians aren't scared of the world ending. Muslims aren't either.

that is simple, deep down everyone knows that when this life is over, whether in death or the end of days, we will all stand in judgement and alot of people have lived what they know is wrong.
