If Jesus came from the line of Ham (Noah's son) then I could believe it and it wouldn't matter.Ham's descendants settled the area known as Cush, which is today, the Sudan,Somalia, Ethiopia, and Etreia.Another of his sons settled Egypt, and Libya,so yeah chances are they are Black.Jesus descended from Shem, who settled the area of No.Israel,Syria, and where Iraq is today.Abraham,Jesus' descendant(some 2000 yrs before Him)came out of Ur near Babylon. He went thru Israel(Caanan at the time)His son Isaac was born there and Jacob his grandson, and on to King David and thru David's son Nathan,on down 900 yrs,Jesus is born to Mary. Now Joseph's descendant was Solomon another son of David, but since he isn't Jesus' bio-dad it doesn't matter.Jesus was a nice brown, probably dark wavy or curly hair, the color you can't be sure of because David was"ruddy and fair "which means he was a Red head.Sarah light and fair which means she was a blonde probably. So you can't say because Jesus was "Semitic"(That word comes from his ancestor Shem.also pronounced Sem in Egyptian,Shemetic,Semetic same same)that he was necessarily dark, just probably.Good Q,dude

Skin color makes no difference! Jesus as Aramaic, making Him dark skinned. Like Egyptians and Arabs. He was not white. There were no white people back then. His mother, Mary, was darker skinned also.

I personally think more people would have believed Him if He glowed in the dark. That would have gotten everyone's attention.

I don't really think anyone knows what color Jesus or God is,It says in the Bible that God created man in his own image,So if thats true and God created every race,Does that mean that God is every race,So to answer the question,As for me I wouldn't care what color Jesus or God is,I would never become atheists.

I would rather live my life like there is a God,and die and find out there is not one.
Than to live my life like there isn't a God,and die and find out there is.Unknown

Why wouldn't they believe in him if he were Black. I think he's Black because we can envision him any way we want to as long as we believe. As far as him being an atheist, how would that be possible or are you just trying to make us really think about this question here???????

Jesus was not some white boy with blue eyes anyway. According to the reseach he is not portrayed properly. But things are modified to suit the people more often then not. but as far as I am concerned what would it matter anyway. It was the message not the messenger.

PIlate crucified two thieves, each with the name of Jesus, and if you would rather worship a crucified thief than a black man like Idi Amin or Kofi Anan then you must be a thief yourself.

Ummmm...I don't think Jesus was white, is that what you believe christians think....you really are narrow minded.

We're talking about God and our Redeemer, what could color have to do with that.

we are worth a Son to God.
