Hi Chris,

You dont need a prescription for Frontline but you do for Revolution as it treats heartworm problem. Revolution doesnt treat ticks, so if you have ticks problem, frontline is the one. But it could be cost beneficial if you could combine Frontline and generic Heartgard (doesnt need prescription) as this treats, heartworm, fleas and ticks. Bu since you only want flea meds, you have the option of Frontline(fleas & ticks), Advantage(fleas only) & Revolution(fleas and heartworms)

You can shop online so easily these days, the delivery time is not bad. Try Petshed.com, 1800petmeds (biggest but costlier), petsmart.com or DrFosterSmith.com. All are discounted pet meds stores. Most of the products are prescription free.

No you don't need a prescription from a vet in order to get Frontline or Advantage in order to pick it up. You don't need to take the cat either.

Most vets will require a visit with them to get it from them, but you can buy Advantage and Frontline most anywhere now!!

Buy the medicine at Target or Petco or petsmart. I use frontline on my cats and it has always worked fine.
