I don't think so besides the fact that some people think it might cause bacteria to grow or whatevers but i don't see how it'd be harmful if you put it in a fridge and save it for later. BESIDES, real asian fried rice is usually cooked, then put in the fridge, then thrown into the fryin pan still cold. It gives the rice a different texture and keeps them individual so you wont have rice clumping and sticking to each other. tastes a lot better too.

I reheat rice all the time, and use it for different recipes. Rice pudding is better with rice that has been made and then cooled off as well. I usually make 2 or 3 times the needed amount the first time, then for the next few days I can make something quick and easy, reheat the rice, no problems with it. I have been doing this for almost 40 years, and have not had any problems so far.

Bacteria is possible with ANYTHING you reheat. As long as it's refigerated like anything else, it should be fine. People say it's bad because rice is gross when reheated in a microwave. Either reheat in the oven or pan, or put in a bowl with a few drops of water and cover really tight to heat in microwave. It'll be fine - and it will not kill you.
