Well, you only have one choice. That is to tell her. Then offer to go with her to get tested. She will probably be more than a little freaked out and really need your support to get through the unknowing. I don't think you need to tell everyone though, she may feel a little shame and if other people know it may make her feel worse.

I hope everything works out for your friend and I wish this disease would lose its stamina. We do have the power to curtail it. Good Luck

Yes, tell her IMMEDIATELY. She/he has every right to know that your friend died of aids after being sexually active. Once he/she knows then that person can get tested and if s/he has it then s/he can try to do something about it. It's better that s/he knows so s/he doesn't spread it. TELL HER/HIM FOR HER OWN SAKE, PLEASE! Good luck to you and that friend of yours, and I'm sorry for your loss.
Oh and sorry about all the annoying he/she her/him things, but I thought it would be rude of me to assume that your friends didn't have a gay relationship.

if this question is accurate, she already knows. he died of AIDS six months ago but they were in contact 1 yr ago? if so, he was still in contact with her at the very late stages of AIDS. it would have been very obvious to your friend that her ex had AIDS. you can tell to be sure but i'm sure she already knows.

Well I think you should tell her so she goes and checks herself and make sure she doesn't have 'em or if she has them, to take care of herself and to stop transmiting them to other people.

Yes. She may already know but if you're not sure that she does I'd let her know.
