True and theirs proof to back it up The unity of Scripture. The Bible was written by approximately 40 human authors over a period of approximately 1,600 years. These men were quite diverse. Moses, a political leader; Joshua, a military leader; David, a shepherd; Solomon, a king; Amos, a herdsman and fruit pincher; Daniel, a prime minister; Matthew, a tax collector; Luke, a medical doctor; Paul, a rabbi; and Peter, a fisherman. The Bible was also written under a variety of circumstances. It was written on 3 different continents, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Yet, the great themes of Scripture are maintained in all the writings. The Bible does not contradict itself. There is no way apart from God the Holy Spirit supervising the writing of the Bible that this could have been accomplished.
Contrast this with the Islamic Koran. It was compiled by one individual, Zaid bin Thabit, under the guidance of Mohammed's father-in-law, Abu-Bekr. Then in A.D. 650, a group of Arab scholars produced a unified version and destroyed all variant copies to preserve the unity of the Koran. The Bible was unified from the time of its writing. The Koran had to be unified through the editing of men.

I beleive there is some truth to it. To be honest with you, I believe that the bible was a book written in order to guide people down the right paths in their life. The entire Bible is stories filled with lessons. I do not beleive that it was meant to be taken as seriously as most people take it today.
However, I do beleive that their was a Jesus and that he was a man that wanted to help people. Guiding them down a good path in the hard life that people experienced in those days (and these days) meant alot. I do not beleive that he could heal wounds, turn water into wine, or walk on water. I beleive that he was a prophet that brought something to the people of the world that nobody else ever had. Ultimately, he accomplished his task, and we still see it today.
On the matter of faith, I beleive that beleiving in the Bible really helps people hang in there in the sense that if they didn't have it, some people wouldn't have anything to beleive in. I feel that the Bible itself is an extremely important part of people's lives, whether it is truth or not. I just beleive that maybe people shouldn't take it as seriously as they have been.

I don't think the Bible is a myth nor that it maybe true. I think it IS true. The Holy Bible was written by men that talked with God and were inspired by His Holy Spirit. God's would never let error be in it.
I see the Bible as God's instruction book to us. Read it and follow it and you will live a happy, fulfilling life and you will please God.

ok, i bypass to be choosy the following! have you ever heard of want grievance? the reason the Bible isn't a unique is that it effective aspects one of those different information in one of those varieties. operating example, the Psalms are songs, the song Of Songs is a poem, Proverbs are - properly, that's clear isn't it? really prose narratives are honestly no longer all that exist interior of its pages. Esther and Ruth might want to count number huge kind as that, as might want to Luke and Acts, yet many of the present testomony books are letters, Daniel and Revelation are apocalyptic, the fourth gospel is in part a theological tract etc. it truly is not a question of no count even if that's actual or a unique. it really is a decision of different literary varieties.

The Bible is God's love letter to each and every one of us as well as His Instruction Manual to humankind.
It is what our heavenly Father wants us to know about Him.
Have you read it? I did and found it to be the best thing I've ever done!!! I know that if the Bible weren't God's Word and if Jesus weren't Who He claimed to be then I never would have been healed from Spiritual Diabetes and I would not have been able to heal after an unwanted divorce, and that life would not be worth living.

Doctor (above) answered the bible is: "100% truth everything makes more sense then anyone on earth can tell me "
this new breed of christian (american evangelical) are bible literalists and feel its better to ignore what they see, hear and touch concerning facts, evidence, and everyday reality ...and just believe what the bible says is real ..."who you gonna believe...your eyes or the bible?!!" ...from noah's ark to balaam's talking donkey to angels and devils.
and actually, these beliefs aren't from bible stories they've read themselves as often as what they' were told by other believers or on christian websites.

I believe that the Bible is the all and knowing truth. I know lots of people will differ from that, but it's okay. Religion is a choice not a demand.
