the fray is on the christion radio stations because there music is a soft rock type thing and they have good goals in life and they dont want to be bat mongers. there also on pop stations because every one can use a little fray goodness in there soal.

the Fray is a four-piece alternative rock band from Denver, Colorado. Internationally, the band is known for the single "Over My Head (Cable Car)", which made the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, the top twenty of the Canadian Airplay Charts, and the top forty of the charts in Australia and New Zealand. The band's follow up single was also a successful hit in the US. The success of the singles helped their debut album How to Save a Life reach the top twenty of the Billboard 200 album charts in the United States.
The Fray was formed in 2002, and currently consists of Isaac Slade on lead vocals and piano, Joe King on guitar and vocals, Dave Welsh on guitar, and Ben Wysocki on drums and percussion. They have no official bassist, but they recently have been touring with bassist Jimmy Stofer. While many critics compare the band to Coldplay,[1] [2] the band lists its main influences as Better Than Ezra and Counting Crows.[3]

Although the band initially drew comparisons to Christian rock groups, they deny that their Christian upbringing has a significant effect on their music.[1]
