We trust the bible to be the inspired word of God. The four gospels tell the story of Jesus by three disciple's accounts. Luke was a physician and HE was not a disciple. He had no actual contact with Jesus other than what you and I have today. He was "contracted" to write the gospel for the Greeks.

His disciples were with Him during His 3 years of ministry. And they didn't tell us everything Jesus said and did, only a portion of it. There aren't enough books in the entire world to hold all of Christ's teachings and miracles. They are His words, written down by His disciples and apostles.

The Bible is full of details of Jesus having his disciples with Him, and details of all He did,. People try to dispute the facts, but read the word, just keep reading, and soon, you will believe...

Many people followed Jesus... his Deciples for instance... and sometimes they hired scribes to write what they saw and heard.
