Take away everything of theirs. For about a week...including xbox, ipods, toys, games, books, radios AND doors off their bedrooms. Let them live like that for a bit. They can earn back their privacy, entertainment and education.

A friend of mine did this to her ROTTEN daughters...they were truly possessed or something. She even took away their dressers and clothes hangers and beds...had to sleep on the floor on their mattresses...I was appalled..but it only took about a day or two before their attitudes changed

If your question is serious, then you need to do some tough loving of those kids. Why did you ask them to clean up the mess they made? TELL them to do it. Get out a big wooden spoon or a belt and stand there popping it while the little brats clean everything up. It sounds harsh but if they were so bad i can guess they don't see that side of you often and it will make an impact. I promise they will obey.

Then, as punishment take away there TV or video games or whatever is near and dear for at least a week or longer. Don't give in. Remind them every time they whine about the punishment that they did it to themselves.

Please don't take this the wrong way But first of all I would not ask them nothing.I would tell them their going to do it.As for the golf clubs put them in there room give them a book for the next month. If they like books make them wash out trash cans and any other chores you can think of.I wish you the best.My nephews are a big handful,I think I know a little of what your going through.

Where were you when all this was going on? Take control and take responsibility...kids behave they way they are "ALLOWED" to behave. Sounds like they are raising you.
