Well ......... I think that if the majority of Corean people hates japan then there wont be manga, japanese products, and japanese cars sold in Corea. But that doesn't mean that there is no tension between Corea and japan either. So people in korea is making their own brand of cars, makeup, toys and they are even Corean manga artists. So therefore I can't say Corean really want to murder japanese but Corean wont like them either. I am Corean and sometimes I hear Japan is ok country but sometimes I hear disses from kids.

I am going to seriously answer this..even though i may get some flack.

O really think koreans are confused..(not all). War is NOT a pretty and HUMANE event . War is cruel and in humane. This is especially true to the losers. In history , we know that raping , killing and stealing resources is a part of the game and it will continue to be as such.

Korean picket the Am.embassy, want to GIs /Yankees to go home. Ironically it is the same Yankees that patrol the DMZ risking their lives to keep South Korea safe and protect this with their lives.

Koreans Hate Americans. If there is a crime committed by a serviceman..The whole country is in uproar..negating the fact that native korean criminal prey on other koreans everyday. This is also true with japan(okinawa)..

They all want us out. So...i think we should leave..let them protect their own borders...duriing the peace ,,some dumbass always have an opinion..especially not knowing that Marines ans Soldiers are doing the dirty work m sp thaty they can sleep peaceful at night. Biting the hand that protects is NOT a good option

Koreans hate the fact that another japanese made them second class citizens in there own country...They would hate the Chinese if they did the same thing...No matter if Japan say sorry or express regrer for it past aggressions. Koreans and Chinese will NEVER forgive the japanese.. The only price to pay is with blood. If the 2 koreas joined along with China to invade Japan..All three would do it in a heartbeat. This is an "Asian" thing.. we non asians cannot understand....On the surface ..South koreans love japan...better place to work for a good salary, and that is what it comes to...CACHING$$$$...

So Koreans and Chinese would be satisfied to see Japan and the Japaneseunder their feet..Only then they will feel vindicated

it isn't really true that most Koreans hate the Japanese people. They hate Japan in the same way that the whole world hates America. But the Japanese I knew in Korea didn't face any more discrimination than any of the whiteys. And outside Korea, I've seen in language classes that the Koreans tend to hang out with the Japanese more than other any other group. My opinion is that they see each other at the same "status level" as opposed to other nationalities that are "beneath" them. Mostly anecdotal, but, hey, this is YA

I don't think thats true because many korean singers eventually debut in japan and koreans like japanese singers too if koreans hated japanese people we wouldn't accept the singers either....Seriously I'm korean and i don't know any koreans who hate japanese people....chinese ppl maybe but thats just because the ones we've met have been sorta rude...and competition for the number one spot in school

Let see, what is the sea to the East of Korea called? Oh yeah, the Sea of Japan. Unless you are in Korea, then it is the East Sea and God help you if you say otherwise. Yes, the dislike Japanese people. Sadly, most of the kids don't even know why and they don't like them either. It is another case of taught hatred. I think in time they will get over it, because really Japan doesn't care about some of the things Korea gets so bent out of shape about, like oh Dokdo Island.

It depends... In WWII the Japanese were insanely horrible to the Koreans. But, as with all things, time changes things. The feelings have lessened in certain areas and with the newer generations. Try searching for "Nose Shrines" to see just how brutal the Japanese were.

I agree with casa2. Some Koreans might just have bitter memories about their past with Japan just as some Americans hold bitter memories about slavery and/or Japanese internment. In the end, it comes down to the individual.

No, you can't categorize a whole half of a country. People who were brutalized by the Japanese in WWII may not like some of them, but not the whole country. If they do, they must be very unhealthy. Your mind affects your body. If you think more loving thoughts, you will be a healthier person, mentally and physically.

like the majority of asian countries, Koreans hate the Japanese. Korea was another country that Japan invaded, occupied and raped of resources during WWII.
