I don't know what kind of condition you are in currently, but I would recommend purchasing or borrowing a Swiss/stability ball to work your abs. Forget all that crap ab equipment they have in gyms. Learn how to use the swiss ball with "correct technique" to work your abdominals. It will provide a much more functional environment to work your abdominals in.

Also something you should know and consider:

Your abdominals are no different then any other muscle in your body (with the exception of your heart muscle) so then why do so many people feel and think they need to do crunch after crunch, after crunch, 100, 200 repititions. They don't do that many reps for any other part of the body so what makes them think they need to do that for their abs. Easy - crap magazine misinformation, piss poor trainers, and everyone else is doing it.
In other words, don't over train your abs as you will not get results. Work them just like the other parts of your body anywhere from 10 to 15 reps, 1 to 2 to 3 sets, 2 to 3 times per week with a days rest in between, is all that is needed if done correctly.

Of course you can work your abdominals till your blue in the face, but if you are not eating a good balanced whole food diet then all that hard work will not show up, literally.

Try doing a search on "Swiss ball or Stability ball abdominal exercises"

No web site is going to help you. You need to do abs sit ups They really work if you do them but it is up to you the net, tv or a book wont do anything for you unless you actually do them.

Just type in abdominal exercises in the search bar, I'm sure you'll find something.
