I find it sad and pathetic that someone would even for a moment consider that Spanish is the official language of the USA. For one, neither of them are. But the fact that Spanish would even be considered, shows how big of an immigration problem we have. I have no problem with the Spanish language, and in fact I am almost fluent in it, but I still think English is the language the country was based on and it should be continued to be spoken and written predominately in the country.

There is no official language, however we do have a common language, its English of course, there has been pushes to make English the official language though...

um, legally speaking AMERICA HAS NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE.

now some STATES have determined an official language. mainly English. some states have adopted English and Spanish as official languages. i believe Lousiana recognizes Creole as an official language as well.

but nationally? nope.

both in the state of arizona i go to a school were about 67% speak spanish including me. yea my decents are not hispanic at all yet my father has taught me fluent spanish so i know both languages yet mi primero idoma es ingles of cousre yea sorry no national language
