Well first of all, these are chemistry tests. A cbc has to do with your hemoglobin and wbc, etc.
ALT(alanine aminotransferase) is basically a liver specific enzyme. It is used to check liver function. If it is high then there is a chance of hepatic disorder.

ALP(alk phos) is found in the highest concentrations in the intestines, liver, bone, spleen, placenta, and kidney. It can be increased in several situations. they are of most diagnostic significance in the evaluation of hepatobiliary and bone disorders. But they can be increased in you are still growing, as in you have not reached your maximum height, and it can be increased in pregnant women too

You have to look at it overall, since your alt was normal to low then I would not worry about your alp.

These measurements are not from a CBC, they are from a CMP (complete metabolic panel).

Any time blood is drawn and serum values are measured, they are only meaningful in light of some sort of context. When primary physicians draw labs on healthy people for "health screening" there are often many meaningless numbers that fall slightly outside the reference ranges. Reference ranges on any study just represent the numerical values that 95% of people will have, who have no identified problems.

Alk phos becomes a meaninful lab to evaluate when people have signs or symptoms suggestive of gallbladder or bile duct inflammation, or when they have diseases which could potentially affect bone. When the lining of the bile system is inflammed, or when lesions are growing inside bone and are creating bone damage, the value of alk phos is strongly elevated (into the hundreds, or multiple hundreds). Your value may be slightly higher than the reference range but if so, it is only trivially elevated. Unless you have aches or pains that make doctors think about your biliary system or bones, this is a non-issue.

ALT is a transaminase, but what that means is absolutely unimportant. What is important about this enzyme is that it lives inside hepatocytes (liver cells), and it has no business floating around in the blood stream. If it is found in the blood stream in elevated amounts, its because there is an ongoing process of liver cells breaking open and releasing this and other liver enzymes. Elevated values of this type of liver enzyme is therefore suggestive of an ongoing inflammatory process in/on or around the liver. However a low value for this is completely without meaning, and again, you are not reporting symptoms.

Don't worry about lab draws, thats not how you live your life. Be more interested in how you actually feel. Do you feel ill? Do you feel generally well? If you have concerns, talk to a doctor in person. Getting advice on the internet is a losing proposition!

You are seventeen and still growing, an elevated alk phos is absolutely normal in this situation. The ALT is normal, the cbc indicates slight anemia, which may actually be in the normal range for you.

Quit being such a worry wort, go out and play some sports, do something active, get off the computer and live a normal life.

I. the analysis is not a cbc- that gives you information such as red blood cell count, white cell count, platelet count, and how much of the red stuff you have (%) in your body.
2. These analytes are measured as part of a chemistry panel.
alk phos is an enzyme that can be elevated for many reasons- one of the most normal is growing bones (you did not give your age) . ALT is a shortened designation for a liver enzyme -low is generally not a bad thing.

The primary importance of measuring alkaline phosphatase is to check the possibility of bone disease or liver disease. ALT - alanine transferase - The ALT test detects liver injury. Lookin at the results, it jus seems like she has a bad viral infection. keep her well hydrated n jus give her some bed rest. let nature do her work. as for the protien in the urine - happens if she ate lets say, chicken nuggets for dinner. more protien then her body needs, excess is excreted out.
