I truly believe i have found the love of my life i know i'm young but this relationship is amazing there is one problem. He left for school and 3 days later he called adn told me he kissed another girl. He called as soon as he did it (1:30 AM) and also called his mom and dad. He said he needed to just know and knows it was horrible. he said "it was like sticking his finger in the electrical socket...you only do it once" he did not beg me to stay with him becuase he understands that we had great trust, and cheating isn't tolerated in our relationship. After several long talks i realized that although very out of character, the kiss was only a kiss and i can't lose almost 2 years of a relationship over it. He DID lose all the trust but i'm with him still. I love him very much and he (as he always has) still talks about mairrage. I know we're young but we just seem so right. Even both our parents agree that our relationship is surreal.Was it right to stay and will we last??

First of all, he went off to college. Now he has contact with many other women who are, well, different.
Second, He met someone he liked and it ended up in a kiss. No big deal, it was just a kiss.
Third, Guilt - His feelings for you has made him feel remorse about his actions. He knows that he was playing with fire and that he could jeopardize your relationship.
Fourth - Chances are that if he didn't say anything, you would never have known and you would not be the wiser.
Fifth - a. He felt your relationship was strong enough that you could handle his loss of self control while he was with another woman. Confess the error of his ways, live through the moment and and have a stronger relationship afterwords.
or b. He does feel a little guilty, but there might be the possibility that he could find someone better than you. He is not man enough to break up with you and want you to break up with him using the excuse that he kissed someone.
or c. He find you are the forgiving kind and fool around a little on the side and still come home to you.
or d. go separate ways until he returns from school.
I have not a clue, but if it is 5a, it can work out and be good for you.

that it well last forever. i belive that you can get married and that there no future compation. as long as you and him work things out and keep on tell the truths.
