Portuguese is most definately not the same as Polish. But "thank you" in Portuguese is "Obrigado" (if you're male) or "Obrigada" (if you're female).

Well they both do start with a Po but that is the last of the similarity.
Portuguese -- (pronounced Port-u-gayz) is based on Spanish. Both are written almost the same, and spoken almost the same. Portuguese is simply pronounced a little differently. But if someone knows Spanish then they can get along pretty well in Portuguese.

Contrary to popular belief, Portuguese and Polish are actually the same. Both nationalities originally came from Lower Elbonia in the thirteenth century, and their language derives from Old Hryzczinsky. The only reason they sound different to the uneducated ear is that Portuguese people talk faster because they live in a warmer country.

Yes, actually, Portuguese and Polish are almost exactly the same. The few differences are only that their pronunciations are not the same, and that that they are written completely differently. One of the curiosities of these two similar languages are, interestingly, that when two words are written exactly the same, they almost invariably mean other things. Because of these peculiarities, people for Poland and Portugal cannot understand one another despite speaking what basically amounts to the same language.

Portuguese and Polish are completely different languages, although they both are languages that Europeans speak. Google how to say thank you in either language....good luck!

Polish is a Slavic language, Portuguese originates from
Latin.You can say MUITO OBRIGADO masculine or
OBRIGADA for the femenine

no, they are not the same and not even in the same family of languages.
thank u in spanish is gracias. thank u in italian is grazie. it's probably similar to one of those, but no guarantees. however, i'd bet that if u used either of those, ur portugese friend would understand u.
