One of the pans is like one of those that you use for cupcakes, like that grey coated material. It gets rusty really easily and I keep having to replace it cause I dont think it is safe to use after getting rusty. What am I doing wrong? Serious answers only please. Thank you!

It's because your not drying it properly. It's going to rust it the water stays on it. It also sounds like you need to buy a more expensive baking dish. The Finish must be wearing off on you!!

You can try checking out the source I'm leaving, also it might help you out a little bit, I hope ;)

If you put them in the dishwasher, sometimes the coating comes off and the metal underneath will rust if standing water is on it for any length of time. Cast iron cannot be washed in the dishwasher. You would be better off washing metal pots and pans by hand and drying them right away.

I forget approximately what it is referred to as, yet it is a severe well being undertaking. protecting it up with foil is nice in the intervening time, yet get a clean pan or borrow one. the subsequent time he chefs some thing in that pan, refuse to consume and say to him- i might rather step on a rusty nail !!

It is because it is coated metal and the metal chips so the water causes this.
I would suggest that you buy silicone pans for that they work really well no oil needed. ;c)

Are you washing them in the dish washer? If the information that comes with cookwear, doesn't say dishwasher safe, it's a good idea, not to put them in there.

It's not fully drying after you wash it. Put it in a warm oven after washing it to dry it fully. Maybe the oven is still warm after you bake your cupcakes.

USE CUPCAKES HOLDER PAPERS AND YOU'LL BE OK. THINK THE PAN DOES THAT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T GET TOTALLY DRIED WHEN YOU WASH IT.
