i you ever heard of an implantable brain chip? well you will in twenty years or so. imagine accessing the internet inside of your brain, or talking to someone without actually talking to them. would you like to hear far more than you can imagine, or see diffirent things like infared and uv. this chip will be implanted in the brain, whether or not mind control would be possible who knows but lets say that would be impossible would you think god will approve of this. do you think if a doctor asked god if he could put a chip in someones brain to make him smarter, do you think go would say yes.

I think we are more likely to perfect machines i.e. robots to do work for us rather than augment ourselves with implants unless absolutlely needed. Say if they could put a chip in Christopher Reeve's brain and he could walk/function agin then that would be wonderful. But say Derek Jeter wants a chip to make him a much better hitter (.750) well then that would be opposed by governing bodies. God really wouldn't care. Would the chip make us more pious, honest, and kind? Then God is all for it. God is just watch this ant farm he created and chuckling at some of the stuff we do. He want us to make our own way and decide between right and wrong. When he judges each of us he will ask about the abortion that was done or the chip the was implanted to try to make a man like a god.

I think God would say, "Don't mess with MY creation!"

I think science is terrific. It helps us answer a lot of questions. But there are times when science becomes immoral and that's completely wrong in my book and I believe sinful. Example: embryonic stem cell, animal cloning (human in the future), even spending millions and billions of dollars to try to walk on Mars when that money could be used to build homes for the poor, education children better, etc. Putting a chip or anything in the human brain is too dangerous and immoral. I don't like seeing my family dying of cancer, having MS, seizures, ... and it'd be great to cure it all. But we need to look into preventative procedures instead of curing what's already here. I'd like to know who would be willing to be the first "guinea pig" for this brain chip?! Would you?

No. God created us with what he wants us to have, and in the future system of things all of that will be so totally unnecessary. God told us to be no part of this world, or this system of things, but rather to look forward to His Kingdom, even to pray for it's coming. Then the desires of our hearts will be satisfied. Now is the time for us to make the choice which side of the issue we are on... Satan's who is the ruler of this system of things(with it's brain chips????) , or God's whose Kingdom is coming soon and will be the only kingdom left on earth and we will be able to use the brains we have to their full extent.

I'm not sure how God would feel but I wouldn't like having a computerized chip implanted in my brain. I'm getting along without one just fine.

I think if it is in God's plan for every one it can be possible. And no one could know if he would approve of it or not. And no I don't think that specific doctor asked God if he could put a chip in some ones brain to make them smarter.

lol

Where in the heck did you pull this from?

What you described really doesn't involve making someone smarter, just quicker at processing data, and being able to process additional data beyond what is available to us.

If we can't even use stem cells for scientific research, as "God" has dictated (that means Bush if you are not sure), "God" surely wouldn't approve of a chip...except for himself!

God let's you try anything - that' the whole free will thing.

Have to judge if it's a sin and/or decide whether it should be done....

To me that all depends on intent and estimate of outcome. Chips to let the blind see = OK, mind-control chips = not so OK.
