My little brother took part in People to People and had what he says was one of the best experiences in his life. He went to Australia and New Zealand. I also had a student who went to Australia this summer. Both believe it was the trip of a lifetime. You experience new cultures in a hands-on environment, get chances to meet new people both in the program and from other countries, and you see places you may never have a chance to see. You will have to work for it by raising money for your trip and completing a project. At least go to the orientation meeting. Someone felt you were deserving of the honor.
But, if you are still weary go to their website: http://www.studentambassadors.org/.

Que?

Yes, I have received a letter before. No it was not a scam, it was from my mother. No it wasn't funny, it told me of my grandmother's passing.
