you look at the cat with the strap toasted on its back start to laugh as hell thinking what would happen if you drop the cat !!!

The cat lands on its feet. Sorry to ruin the joke, but the only reason the butter side goes down is because the butter side is heavier than the plain side and since the cat (hopefully) weighs more then the buttered toast, it'll land on it's feet.

Myth busters did a show to answer the myth of the toast always lands butter side down. They discovered that toast lands on both buttered and unbuttered equally. If the toast was turned in a little- like not completely flat, and buttered on the side that it curved in on, then it tended to fall on that side! Cute question tho!!!

The cat will hit the floor feet first. The concussion of the landing causes the toast string to break, enabling the toast to hit the floor. Yes, butter side down.

if you strap the toast butter side up on the cat, it will eventually land on its back, lol. either way the cat will drop on its back because of natures strong force of gravity.

the cat will drop on it's feet, as for the toast it is according on what side of the toast you strap it on.
