I am moving to Oak Park and have about a 3/4 mile walk to the train station everyday. Do they have bike racks at the train station where you could lock up your bike until you return?

Read your profile... You're talking about Oak Park, IL

Both the CTA and Metra stations have racks to lock your bike in

i imagine for what you're looking for for, a bike from walmart or kmart might want to be ok. something low priced. Leaving on the practice station may propose it receives damaged or stolen. you're in a position to purchase one inexpensively at a backyard sale. I have an previous highway motorbike that i purchased used it is in ok structure that i exploit to bypass to the practice station.
