I'm a good, clean cut, hard working man, I even think good looking... but why is that not as attractive?

Bad boys act indifferent to what others think (I.E.: self-confident & a challenge).
They are unpredictable (fun & excitement).
They are assertive & don't put up with other people's crap (leadership).
Women think that they are tough & streetwise (protective).
Nice guys tend to be predictable (boring).
Nice guys act too submissive & deferr to other people too much (being too nice comes across as either manulipitative or weak).

The "bad boy" type can be exciting, but more often than not relationships with guys like that don't last. Personally speaking, I find guys the way you described yourself more appealing... often more grounded and are out for an actual relationship that isn't all physical.

This is the difference between a GIRL and a WOMAN. A girl likes the bad boys because she thinks SHE can change him and get him to settle down. But, a REAL mature woman knows that this is impossible. The women you think are women, are NOT. They are still GIRLS, and I don't care how old they are....if they are still chasing bad boys, they are still little girls (if only in their heads.) YOU need to look for real women.

To be honest with you, I am a 27 yr old mother of 1, hard-working, independent , well-rounded and all the good stuff. But every woman wants a lil thug in her man.

There's nothing wrong with you, but some girls like the more complicated type, they think they can change them or that they're more interesting than the "clean cut" type of guy they can easily figure out.

Sometimes it just takes longer for women to see the truth, even if it slaps them in the face. You'll find her, when your not looking. I've been waiting too. Yet, I won't settle just for anything, I want to be number 'one' or not at all. Oh, the bad boy image doesn't impress me, although I know it does many. "Go Figure"

Yeah, I hear you. It is like smoking or drinking....once a person has done it for a while, it is just easier to keep doing it than to quit or change. These girls always go from bad situation to worst situation and in the end they HATE ALL MEN!! Go figure.... the best thing to do is to stay away from these time bombs cause they will drag you down with them.

It's about genes. The bad boy has the screw around gene. The woman gets pregnant by him and his screw around gene hooks up with her genes in HER sons......Then her sons follow their dad's bad boy ways and pass on HER genes far and wide. So a woman knows that hooking up with a bad boy will cause HER genes to be spread around more prolifically through her sons than if she goes with the one woman man type.
There has thus been an evolutionary advantage associated with getting pregnant by a bad boy and hitching your genes to his through your sons.

with "bad boys" u get adventure & they are more of a challenge - we love challenges, until we win & then we go looking for the "good guys" to settle down with
