yes u can
run wine
to get wine in linux
use the YUM software updater
$yum install wine
read the documentation
http://tsx.nl/index.php?p=wmp4linux
this is a 6.4 version of media player tht can play in linux

First download wmp64.tgz: http://tsx.nl/files/wmp64.tgz
Extract the downloaded file in a temporary directory: tar zxvf wmp64.tgz and after that type ./wmp.inst
In order to run the installer you must have cabextract installed. Download it here:
http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php.
You can run Windows Media Player by running ./wmp in the ~/bin directory.
hope this helps
