Texas Toast -- garlic style (if you MUST have frozen)

I prefer fresh by far and it doesn't take any longer then frozen. Italian bread, butter, garlic powder, italian seasoning -- put under boiler until brown. Add mozzerella cheese for something different.

I understand your question, and while adding cheese isn't all bad - when you just want garlic toast .. That's what you want.
Interestingly, amongst the frozen varieties I have generally been satisfyed with the store brands .. such as Hi-Vee (not Best Choice - or generics).

Make your own. The frozen is just plain gross. Smells like plastic when cooking and hands even smell like plastic after handling. I have to wonder if they use the same kind of "butter" on the microwave popcorn that has received so much negative attention as carcinogen.
